Mount Hope Nazarene Retirement Community, 3026 Mount Hope Home Road, Manheim, will hold a holiday bazaar and open house on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the first floor in the resident dining hall.
Gift purchases will be available via cash and carry and preorder sales. A variety of local vendors will sell beauty items, handmade cards, crafts, jewelry, cosmetics, candle warmers with assorted special scents for the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons, and more. A lunch menu of homemade chicken corn noodle soup, hot dogs with sauerkraut, chips, and assorted beverages will be available for purchase, as well as a spread of homemade baked goods and treats.
Proceeds from the vendor registration fees, baked goods, and lunch menu items will benefit resident activities and life enrichment outings for Mount Hope seniors. Individuals who are interested in various volunteer opportunities at Mount Hope are invited to contact Kris Wilson, director of advancement, at 717-682-8026.
