MTEF Posts Spring Grant Opportunities

Manheim Township Educational Foundation (MTEF) will accept applications for the spring grant cycle until Wednesday, April 6. MTEF supports grants in all academic, artistic, and athletic areas of education.

Benefiting students from elementary through high school across the district, grants awarded during the fall 2021 cycle included a media production studio, an interdisciplinary STEM initiative at Manheim Township Middle School, a mural artist-in-residence project at Landis Run Intermediate School, and hands-on science investigations for elementary students.

Individuals may apply for a grant to support an innovative project for the 2022-23 school year. For grant-related questions and guidance, contact Jenny Germann at j.germann@mtef.net. For a grant application and guidelines, visit http://www.mtef.net/grants.

In addition, the newly created Student Impact Fund provides a dedicated opportunity for students to propose innovative ideas and projects for funding. Applications for Student Impact Grants may be submitted at any time during the school year, with notification of approval provided within two months.

Only students may apply for Student Impact Grants, and requests are limited to $1,000 or less. Like all MTEF projects, applications should highlight innovation and benefit more than one student. Grant applications require the signature of a teacher, who will manage funds awarded, as well as principal Rilatt.

Details, requirements, and submission instructions are included on the Student Impact Fund Grant application, also available at the aforementioned website.
