Victoria Mullin of Caln Township will compete in the All National American Miss Pageant in Anaheim, Calif., during Thanksgiving week.
Mullin competed in the National American Miss Pennsylvania event this May and earned the title of 2019 Miss Pennsylvania Queen, qualifying her for nationals in November, where she will compete for the title of National American Miss.
The daughter of Paul and Aracelis Mullin, Victoria is a 2016 Bishop Shanahan High School graduate. Now a senior at West Chester University, she is pursuing a degree in women and gender studies. She is actively involved in community service projects. Victoria serves as the vice president of the Association for Women's Empowerment. During the summer, she has been studying Spanish abroad in Spain and taking part in community service projects.
Her previous pageant titles include the 2018 All National American Miss third runner-up, 2017 National American Miss Teen Spokesmodel and first runner-up Teen Photogenic.
Contestants will compete in four overall categories: Formal Wear Modeling, Personal Introduction, Interview, and Community Service Project. While in California, Mullin also plans to compete in several optional categories, including Most Photogenic and Spokesmodel, and she will compete for a volunteer service award.
National American Miss is dedicated to celebrating America's greatness and encouraging its future leaders. Each year, the pageant awards thousands of dollars in cash and prizes to recognize and assist in the development of young ladies nationwide. All activities are age-appropriate and family-oriented.
The focus of the National American Miss Pageant System is to create future leaders and to equip them with real-world skills to make their dreams a reality. The program is based on inner beauty, as well as poise and presentation, and emphasis is placed on the importance of gaining self-confidence and learning new skills, such as good attitudes about competition, as well as setting and achieving personal goals.
