Winters Heritage House Museum, 47 E. High St., Elizabethtown, has posted its schedule.
Its fall exhibit, titled "Picture Shows, the Evolution of Elizabethtown Imagery," may be viewed from Friday, Oct. 1, through Friday, Oct. 29, during museum hours. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on opening day, Oct. 1, visitors may enjoy refreshments. The exhibit will allow viewers to explore Elizabethtown through the unfolding of photographic technology, from daguerreotypes and stereographs to glass slides and still photography. Donations will be appreciated.
A stereograph class will take place from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 30. Based on stereograph technology of the 1860s, attendees will learn to create, print, and view their own 3D photos. The cost includes a stereo viewer. Class size is limited, and individuals are asked to register by Friday, Oct. 22.
