Musical Service Will Recognize St. Patrick

The public is invited to attend "Saints and Sinners," a musical service at Wayside Presbyterian Church, 600 Stony Battery Road, Landisville, on Sunday, March 17, at 4 p.m.

Wayside's music director, Janelle Pabon, and its contemporary praise band, Grace Notes, will lead the congregation in singing favorite contemporary worship songs and some traditional pieces. The 90-minute service has been designed to offer an experience of praise, prayer, and personal commitment to Jesus.

In recognition of St. Patrick's Day, pastor Steve Fritz and the Rev. Larry Moir will offer interludes of liturgical reflections and prayers of the patron saint of Ireland. Attendees will be invited to remember their baptism through water and will be given a small token keepsake. They may also receive an anointment with oil and light a candle.

Guests are always welcome at Wayside. Two services are offered on Sunday mornings: a traditional style service with choir begins at 9:30 a.m., and the contemporary service with Grace Notes starts at 11 a.m.
