Landis Homes has announced that April Myers joined the team recently as director of nursing. She will be responsible for clinical care administration in all areas of health care, including rehab and memory care. This includes program planning, organization, implementation and evaluation of a resident-focused care environment.
Myers, who has 20 years of health care experience, has worked in many roles in nursing and has served at hospitals, wound care centers and retirement communities. She previously worked part-time at Landis Homes while in nursing school. Her experience includes time as an LPN, RN supervisor, RNAC and assistant director of nursing since 2015.
Myers received her LPN degree at Lancaster County Career and Technology Center. She studied business and received her RN degree from HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College.
Myers live in Millersville with her husband, Charles. She has two children and two grandchildren.
