The York County Department of Parks and Recreation will host Nature Play Drop-In Programs for children on Fridays, Nov. 8, 15, and 22, and Saturdays, Nov. 9, 16, and 23, at the Nature Center at Nixon County Park, 5922 Nixon Drive, York. The program will take place during the regular Nature Center hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Families are welcome to drop in at any time during the program and stay for as long as they would like. Various play stations will be set up inside the Nature Center. Attendees may dress up, use puppets, feel natural objects, explore with short scavenger hunts, and be creative.
