The Lancaster County nonprofit Parkinson's Circle of Care Alliance has welcomed Drew Nesbitt as a new board member. He will join the organization in its vision to improve the lives of those with Parkinson's disease and their caretakers.
Nesbitt is a physical therapist and clinic director at Hartz Physical Therapy, Lancaster - East. He has been with the company since 2010, and he has an interest in neurological and vestibular issues. He believes in a partnering approach between movement specialist/neurologist, physical therapist and client/caregiver.
Nesbitt is a graduate of Hempfield High School. He received his Bachelor of Science in biology from East Stroudsburg University and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Arcadia University. At East Stroudsburg, he was captain of the cross-country and track and field teams. He continues to run competitively and is a member of the F&M Track Club. He has successfully completed the Boston Marathon. Nesbitt has served on the board of Girls on the Run and continues his work on the Girls on the Run 5K race committee. Drew and his wife, Amanda, live in Lancaster with their two young children.
