The Newcomers and Neighbors of Lancaster has scheduled several activities in December.
An old-fashioned cookie exchange will take place at a member's home on Friday, Dec. 17. Each participant is asked to bring four varieties of homemade cookies. An optional gift exchange is also planned.
Newcomers and Neighbors will also offer a trip to attend the holiday musical "Christmas Tree Ship" at Bird-in-Hand Stage on Tuesday, Dec. 28.
Newcomers and Neighbors is a not-for-profit women's organization founded in the 1990s to extend a helping hand to new and longer-term residents of Lancaster County. Its activities range from lunches, dinners and book clubs to educational and community services.
