Old Leacock Day, a 79-year-old tradition at the Old Leacock Presbyterian Church, will be held on Sunday, Sept. 8. The event will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a church service to conclude the summer church services. There will be no church service at the Paradise church that day.
After the service, a potluck picnic will be held in the church courtyard. Hot dogs with all the trimmings will be provided, as will paper goods. Those planning to attend are encouraged to bring a covered dish to share.
The 279-year-old Old Leacock Presbyterian Church is located at Old Leacock Road and the Old Philadelphia Pike, 1 mile west of Intercourse.
