Cross Roads United Methodist Church, 6881 Church St., Cross Roads, will sponsor the Disciple Fast Track Old Testament Bible study. The class will meet in the church parlor from 7:45 to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays, March 13 to May 29.
The goal of these studies is to gain a better understanding of the Old Testament and, more importantly, to grow as disciples. To achieve the greatest benefit, students are expected to attend each session.
During the weekly sessions, students will focus on spiritual growth, biblical knowledge, and small group connection. Study manuals and videos will give participants tools to absorb and retain what they learn about the Bible. Between classes, students will be required to read three to five chapters of the Bible daily and record insights about their readings.
