Our Mother of Perpetual Help (OMPH) Catholic School in Ephrata recently held its graduation for 20 eighth-grade students. The ceremony took place on June 24 on the grounds of St. Clement's Mission House.
The graduates are Ethan Brinser, Sydney Dissinger, Kyra Francis, Luke Hinojosa, Emily Hoffmann, Noah Hollenbacher, Daniel Hoover, Olivia Janke, Savannah Lamison, Laura Lapp, Julie Leonard, Autumn Lipson, Sean McAleer, Michael McBrearty, Maeve Milligan, Lucas Olszewski, Alexa Rondinella, Velia Ruzic, Alex Sheaffer, and Elliot Townley. Diplomas are awarded to students who are of good Christian character and have satisfactorily completed the course of studies prescribed for the elementary schools by the Diocese of Harrisburg.
In addition to their diplomas, members of the class were recognized with awards for academic, athletic, leadership, and artistic accomplishments from the 2019-20 school year. Service awards were also given to students in recognition of their commitment to the community.
