Our Mother of Perpetual Help (OMPH) Catholic School recently announced that over $162,000 was raised on Nov. 20, 2020, during the Extraordinary Give, the one-day giving event run by the Lancaster County Community Foundation. The grand total raised, including online donations, offline donations, cash prizes, and stretch funds, was over $162,969.
Parents, parishioners, alumni, and friends all came together to support The Fund for OMPH School, which provides tuition assistance to families as well as the financial support needed to expand the educational offerings at the school. OMPH School placed 14th out of 522 nonprofits that participated in the Extra Give, with over 470 donors from 14 states choosing to give to OMPH School that day.
With the funds raised during the Extra Give, OMPH School is expanding its preschool program for the 2021-22 school year and will offer full-day preschool for 3-year-olds and full-day prekindergarten for 4-year-olds, in addition to the full-day kindergarten already offered.
Limited space is available in the preschool programs, and enrollment is open. The financial aid deadline is Monday, March 1, and students must be registered to apply for aid. Readers may contact enrollment@omph.org or 717-738-2414 for application information.
