The sixth annual online auction to benefit the Joseph T. Simpson Public Library will feature hundreds of items donated by businesses, friends of the library, patrons, and local residents. There is no fee to register or to preview the donated items.
The auction will kick off with registration and a preview on Monday, Sept. 21. Bidding will begin on Saturday, Sept. 26, at 9 a.m. and end on Sunday, Oct. 4, at 9 p.m. Winning bidders can pick up their items on Thursday, Oct. 8, through Saturday, Oct. 10.
Usually held in the spring, the auction was delayed until the fall following the library's reopening. The event is co-hosted by the Friends of Joseph T. Simpson Public Library and the library's board of trustees. All funds will directly benefit the Simpson Library, providing needed financial support for services, supplies, and operating expenses.
