The board of directors of Hands-on House, Children's Museum of Lancaster has announced the hiring of Jim Bland as the new executive director effective July 8. Bland replaces Julia Connolly, who successfully served in the role for nearly three years until moving with her family out of the area. Bland's experience includes working with museums, teaching, marketing and business management.
Originally from New Jersey, Bland currently lives in Mountville and has been a resident of Lancaster County for nearly 30 years with his wife and four children.
Hands-on House, Children's Museum of Lancaster is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating landmark learning experiences for children and their families through play.
