CHI St. Joseph Children's Health will hold "Creating Healthy Communities: An Evening With Michael Steele" on Tuesday, April 30. The lecture portion of the event will take place from 7:15 to 9:15 p.m. at the Ware Center, 42 N. Prince St., Lancaster. Members of the public may also attend an optional VIP dinner and reception beginning at 5 p.m. at Carr's Restaurant, 50 W. Grant St., Lancaster.
During the event, Steele will explore what is necessary for communities across the region, the state and the nation to be healthy and thriving. Steele is a former lieutenant governor of Maryland, a former Republican National Committee chairman, an author, and a political analyst.
Seating is limited. Separate prices have been set for the lecture only and for the reception, dinner, and lecture. All proceeds of ticket sales will support the programs and services of CHI St. Joseph Children's Health in the Lancaster community.
