The American Heart Association, a nonprofit organization focused on heart and brain health for all, invites women from across Lancaster County to join the 10th annual Lancaster Pursenalities Party, which will be offered as a digital experience. The online silent purse auction to raise funds and awareness for the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women movement will open for bidding on Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 9 a.m. and will close on Monday, Nov. 2, at 9 p.m.
Designer bags donated by local business and community leaders will be available at http://www.heart.org/lancasterpursenalities for preview leading up to the opening day. Participants are encouraged to make a donation when they preregister online to gain immediate access to bidding when the auction opens on Oct. 28.
Funds raised at the Lancaster Pursenalities event benefit the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women movement and have contributed to the donation of infant CPR kits at local hospitals and the installation of water filtration systems at local schools. Funds also support the American Heart Association's mission to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives through investing in research, advocacy, CPR training and education.
