Lighthouse Assembly of God Church invites middle and high school students to attend the next three Fifth Quarter events on Fridays, Sept. 20, Oct. 11, and Oct. 25, from 9:30 p.m. to midnight. Immediately following the Garden Spot High School home football games, students can travel one block over to Lighthouse Church, 105 Earland Drive, New Holland, for a free community event. The first event of Fifth Quarter's fifth season took place on Aug. 30.
Students attending will be served free food, including walking tacos, hot dogs, cotton candy, and iced coffee. Sports fields will be set up for games of flag football, Ultimate Frisbee, volleyball, and basketball. Yard games and bonfires will also be available for students to socialize and make s'mores. In the past, more than 300 students have attended the event.
