Ox Trot 5 Miler Posted

The Ox Trot 5 Miler will be held on Saturday, Aug. 14, at Bowmansville Park, 155 Church St., Narvon. Registration and bib pickup will begin at 7 a.m. in the park pavilion, and the race will start promptly at 8 a.m.

This challenging 5-mile road race was first held in 1983 and continues to test runners of all abilities. It starts and finishes at Bowmansville Park, and water stations are available along the way. At the upcoming event, attendees will also have access to post-race refreshments, restroom facilities, and plenty of parking. Prizes will be presented to the top three male and top three female participants and to the top three finishers in various age categories.

All proceeds from the race will benefit the Garden Spot cross-country teams.

Those who preregister by Friday, July 30, will receive a discount and a short-sleeve T-shirt. Those who register on the morning of the race day will receive a T-shirt while supplies last.
