PAFP Seeks Nominees

The Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physicians (PAFP) is looking to name the winner of Pennsylvania's Public Health Award. The PAFP's Public Health Award winner will be a family physician who is a member of the Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physicians, is in good standing in the medical community, and can effectively represent the specialty of family practice and the PAFP in public speaking.

PAFP is looking for a family physician who has demonstrated leadership and engagement in either a traditional public health organization or population and community health, is actively engaged within a health system or community, and focuses efforts on areas including health equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Anyone can nominate their family physician for the 2020 Public Health Award at http://www.pafp.com/healthaward. The family physician nominee must be a member of the PAFP. The nomination deadline is Friday, Jan. 10, 2020.
