Panelists from the entertainment industry will discuss the current U.S. political landscape and its potential effect on cultural production and consumption at 7:30 pm. on Thursday, April 11, in York College's Weinstock Lecture Hall, Willman Business Center. The college is located at 441 Country Club Road, York.
Panelists will include Mathew Knowles, record label owner, talent manager, businessman, and manager for Destiny's Child; Cameo Carlson, former head of digital business development for Borman Entertainment, former executive vice president of Universal Motown Republic Group, and current president of Mtheory, Nashville; and Jeremy Weiss, founder and owner of The CI Companies, the umbrella brand of CI Records, LAUNCH Music Conference and Festival, The Champ venue, CI Productions, CI Design and Printing, and the CI band management arm.
The event is free and open to the public.
