Governor Dick Environmental Center, 3283 Pinch Road, Mount Gretna, will offer events to the public. Preregistration is required by contacting 717-964-3808 or governordick@hotmail.com and providing a name and phone number. Attendees should meet at the Environmental Center.
A Mindfulness in Nature Hike will step off at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2. During the half-mile hike, participants will slow down and get in touch with their senses. There is a nominal cost to participate.
On Sunday, Nov. 3, Music by the Fireplace, a bluegrass music jam, will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. Pickers are welcome to participate.
