The Penn-Cumberland Garden Club (PCGC) has announced the two winners of its scholarships for the 2020-21 academic year. The recipients are Nicole Guise of Spring Grove and Kaden Robinson of New Bloomfield. Each has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship.
PCGC scholarships support local students in studies in horticulture, floriculture, agriculture, or any allied plant- or ecology-related studies.
Guise will be a junior at Penn State University Park this fall, majoring in agriculture education, with a minor in environmental resource management. She previously was awarded the $500 scholarship for the 2019-20 academic year by PCGC.
Robinson is a 2020 graduating senior at West Perry High School. He plans to attend Penn State Mont Alto this fall, with a major in forest ecosystem management.
