Pet Portrait Event Slated

Orendorff Studios, 402 Wheatfield St., York, has announced the second day of its third annual BARk in the Studio event. Fifteen-minute dog portrait mini sessions will be available on Saturday, Nov. 23, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. All time slots on the first day of the event, Sunday, Nov. 17, have been booked.

There is a fee for the session, plus a required donation of a 15-pound bag of dog food per dog. Additional dogs can be accommodated for an additional donation. Orendorff Studios will donate the dog food to BARk as part of BARk's annual pet food drive, which helps local dogs in need.

Participants will be able to choose up to five images from an online viewing gallery to be edited after the event. They will receive the session fee back in credit to use toward the purchase of digital images, prints, statuettes, canvases or other items such as a calendar print from last year's sessions. Each dog will receive a swag bag of donated items from dog-related businesses.

Sessions are by appointment only. To schedule a session, readers may send a message to Orendorff Studios on Facebook. The session fee will be collected at the time of booking to reserve a spot.
