The "Thrive!" live parenting seminar, hosted by Petra Church, 565 Airport Road, New Holland, is set for Saturday, April 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The topic will be "Equipping Children With Skills for Life," and the program is intended to provide parents with heart-based tools to help any child at any age with any problem. The seminar will be presented by Scott Turanksy and Joanne Miller from the National Center for Biblical Parenting.
A cost per adult has been set. Lunch will be included with registrations made by Friday, April 1. Child care for infants through 11-year-olds will be available upon request; the cost is by donation on the day of the event.
