Each spring semester, academic departments at Mansfield University, Mansfield, are invited to recognize the achievements of outstanding students at the Academic Honors Reception. This year, departments were invited to recognize their outstanding first-year student, outstanding sophomore, outstanding junior, and nominee for the outstanding senior award.
Shannon Pizzirusso of Wrightsville was among the honorees. She was awarded recognition as the Outstanding Senior in the Department of Music.
