In a presentation titled "Atoms to Earth: Optimization Through a Plant-Based Diet," Dr. Scott Stoll, an orthopedic surgeon and the co-founder of the Plantrician Project and Regenerative Health Institute, will describe the science of plant-based nutrition and its potential to prevent, suspend, and reverse the most common non-communicable diseases. His lecture will move beyond personal health, highlighting the local, regional, and global impact of food choices.
Stoll's talk will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 6, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Junker Auditorium at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center Campus, 700 HMC Crescent Road, Hershey. A brief reception will follow.
