A virtual pre-retirement seminar will be offered on Thursday, Aug. 27, by the York County Area Agency on Aging APPRISE Program. The free seminar will run from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
People nearing retirement or recently retired will receive information about choosing Medicare plans and navigating the Medicare system. Seminar topics will include a review of benefits provided under Medicare, original Medicare and Medicare Advantage Plan coverage options, Medicare prescription drug coverage, tools to navigate the Drug Plan Finder, Medicare savings programs, Medicare preventive services, supplemental insurance/Medigap plans, and MyMedicare.gov and other technological tools.
