The Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Juniata, Perry and York county chapters of the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees (PASR) will hold a free pre-retirement workshop for public school employees considering retirement in one to four years. The workshop will be held on Saturday, May 4, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Mechanicsburg Middle School, 1750 S. Market St., Mechanicsburg. It will be hosted by Cumberland County PASR.
It is open to teachers, librarians, counselors, nurses, maintenance and custodial personnel, transportation workers, cafeteria employees, administrators, paraprofessionals, and office staff.
Speakers will provide current information about retirement options, health insurance options, supplemental insurance, and Social Security benefits.
