Landis Valley Village and Farm Museum, 2451 Kissel Hill Road, Lancaster, will offer a virtual presentation titled "Thrown, Fired and Glazed: The Redware Tradition From Pennsylvania and Beyond" on Thursday, Nov. 12, at 7 p.m.
Museum curator Jennifer Royer will discuss the highlights of Landis Valley Village and Farm Museum's extended redware exhibit. With the exhibit currently closed, this Zoom presentation will take viewers on a virtual tour, giving more specifics about a variety of pieces on display from sgraffito plates to unusual figurines, useful roof tiles and outstanding miniatures. Royer will display her favorite piece and explain what it symbolizes.
