Pressure Canning Workshop Slated

Penn State Extension Lebanon County, 2120 Cornwall Road, Lebanon, will host a pressure canning workshop on Monday, July 8, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Participants will learn the science behind pressure canning recommendations as well as the basics of using a pressure canner based on current USDA canning guidelines. The workshop will cover which foods need to be pressure canned, pressure canner safety features, proper pressure canner operation and practical tips to ensure a positive experience.
