Governor Dick Environmental Center, 3283 Pinch Road, Mount Gretna, will offer two special events in November. Programs are open to the public, but preregistration is required by contacting 717-964-3808 or governordick@hotmail.com and providing a name and phone number. Attendees should meet at the Environmental Center.
Toddlers in Tow: Ready, Set, Winter! will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 20. Children ages 2 to 5 will learn what animals do to prepare for the winter season. The program is free.
The 10th annual Bouldering Competition will take place at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21. The event is open to beginners through advanced competitors. There is a fee to participate.
