Quilt History Program Slated

The forum African American Quilt History will take place on Thursday, Sept. 12, at 4 p.m. at LancasterHistory, 230 N. President Ave., Lancaster. The program is the final installment of the Material Culture Forum.

Curatorial staff will present in-depth object studies of Lancaster County quilts at 4 p.m., followed by a presentation at 4:30 p.m. by acclaimed quilter, author, and speaker Kyra Hicks, who will discuss 200 years of African American quilting in America.
