The Lancaster County 4-H Rabbiteers will host their first meeting of the year on Tuesday, Feb. 16, at 7 p.m. via Zoom. The meeting is for anyone ages 8 to 18 prior to Jan. 1 who is interested in learning more about rabbits and cavies. Club members do not have to own any animals.
There will be approximately six meetings throughout the spring and summer. Most of the meetings, which run from 6:30 to 8 p.m., will offer workshops on animal nutrition, showing rabbits, and other elements of rabbit and cavy care. Club members will complete a record book. A one-time fee covers the cost of all the meetings.
To register for the first meeting, readers may contact Michelle Kunjappu at michellekun@gmail.com.
