The Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania, 300 Gap Road, Strasburg, will join museums nationwide in the 10th annual Blue Star Museums program, which provides free admission to the nation's active-duty personnel and their families this summer. The 2019 program was launched on May 18, Armed Forces Day, and will end on Monday, Sept. 2, Labor Day.
The free admission program is available for those currently serving in the United States Military - Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard - as well as members of the Reserves, National Guard, U.S. Public Health Commissioned Corps, and NOAA Commissioned Corps, along with up to five family members. Qualified members must show a Geneva Convention common access card (CAC), a DD Form 1173 ID card (dependent ID), or a DD Form 1173-1 ID card for entrance into a participating Blue Star Museum.
