Kennard-Dale High School student Tyler Rake was recently honored as the 10th-grade winner in the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) poster contest. Each year, the PLCB sponsors an Alcohol Awareness Poster Contest that is open to all students in kindergarten through 12th grade in Pennsylvania. The purpose is to encourage teenagers to pursue healthy alternatives to underage drinking.
Tyler received a monetary prize, a certificate, a letter of recognition, a calendar showcasing all the 2018-19 winners and a laminated copy of his poster. He was honored at a ceremony at the State Capitol in Harrisburg.
