The Salvation Army Lancaster Corps kicked off its annual Red Kettle Campaign on Nov. 16. The Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign is one of the largest annual fundraising events for the nonprofit organization. This year's campaign has a fundraising goal of $120,000.
The Salvation Army is preparing to serve over 6,000 individuals from the greater Lancaster area with food, toys, and winter wear. The donations received through the annual Red Kettle Campaign help to make this and yearlong Salvation Army programs possible. The campaign will end on Friday, Dec. 24.
The Salvation Army Lancaster Corps is also seeking community members who will volunteer their time during the campaign and throughout the year. The Salvation Army needs businesses, groups, teams, churches, families, and individuals willing to volunteer some of their time.
