The 30th annual Ride for Sight event and Farewell Carnival will be held on Saturday, June 15. The event, hosted by the Schoeneck Lions Club, will take place at Denver Memorial Park from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in support of VisionCorps Foundation and the Lebanon County Sight Committee.
The Covered Bridge Ride, a 40-mile hard surface road tour, will begin at a new starting location, Denver Memorial Park, 801 Main St., Denver. Riders may begin arriving at 7 a.m., and breakfast will be available for purchase at this time. The ride will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude back at the park. Rider registration is required. Prizes will be awarded at the conclusion, and area residents are encouraged to cheer riders on as they pass by.
The Farewell Carnival will include a car and vehicle show, a cornhole tournament, karaoke, carnival games, and face painting. Cash prizes will be awarded. Preregistration is required for participation in the car and vehicle show, cornhole tournament, and karaoke. Entertainment will be provided by local country music singer Deano.
