Rodriguez Named As School Principal

Lancaster Mennonite School (LMS) will welcome Eloy Rodriguez back to the LMS community as the principal of the new newly forming middle school at the unified Lancaster campus in the fall.

Rodriguez has served in numerous teaching and principal roles in his more than 19 years as an educational leader. He most recently was a long-term substitute for physical education at LMS' Locust Grove and New Danville campuses. In this role, he instructed students in prekindergarten through eighth grade.

His career has also included middle school teacher roles in Virginia and North Carolina, elementary teacher and principal at LMS' New Danville campus, middle school principal and high school associate principal at LMS' Lancaster campus, and assistant principal at Park Elementary in the Columbia Borough School District. He has a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Eastern Mennonite University, a master's degree in educational leadership from Millersville University, an elementary instructional PA License for kindergarten through sixth grade, and a prekindergarten through 12th-grade principal certification from the Pennsylvania Department of Education. He is an active board member on the Eastern Mennonite University Board of Trustees.
