The Junior League of Lancaster (JLL) will hold its 17th annual Run4Luck on Saturday, March 12, at 9 a.m. It will take place in person at Lancaster Country Day School (LCDS), 725 Hamilton Road, Lancaster, with a virtual option also available.
A 4-mile run, a 2-mile walk, and a kids' fun run will be offered. Those participating virtually must complete the distance by 11:59 p.m. on race day, and they should record their time and post it to the Run4Luck RunSignup page.
The JLL encourages all in-person and virtual participants to wear St. Patrick's Day attire. They may share their pictures on the JLL Facebook page or email them to run4luck@jllancaster.org.
There is a fee for the 4-mile run and 2-mile walk, and long-sleeve performance shirts will be available for registrants on a first-come, first-served basis. There is a fee for the kids' fun run as well. To register, visit https://runsignup.com/run4luck2022.
Drive-through pickups will be held at LCDS on Friday, March 11, from 4 to 7 p.m. Race items may also be picked up on Saturday, March 12, from 8 to 9 a.m. at the registration tent.
Following the conclusion of the race and after all of the times are submitted, winners will be contacted and announced via the JLL Facebook page on Saturday, March 19. This year's prizes include gift cards to Inside Track and Annie Bailey's Irish Public House. All registrants will also be automatically entered into a drawing for a chance to win two tickets to The Fulton Theatre and a prize basket from Go 'N Bananas Family Fun Center.
