Steam Into History, 2 W. Main St., New Freedom, will return its popular Santa Express trains to the schedule with holiday cheer for people of all ages.
The rides on Fridays, Dec. 6 to 20, will feature special Snow Queen and Ice Princess guests. Each ride will depart at 5:30 p.m., with an additional 6:30 p.m. ride on Dec. 6 only.
Santa Express will also offer rides at 11:30 a.m. and 1, 2:30, 4, and 5:30 p.m. on Saturdays, Dec. 14 and 21, and Sundays, Dec. 15 and 22.
Riders will hear the "Night Before Christmas" and Christmas music in anticipation of a visit from Santa. Santa will hand out a small gift to the children and take pictures with riders.
Hot chocolate, cookies, and music will be available in the station prior to departure. New this year, the Christmas tree stand by Strathmeyer at the station will offer an opportunity to purchase a fresh-cut Christmas tree.
