Pequea Valley School District hosted a Kindergarten Workshop on March 15 for children who will enter kindergarten in the 2019-20 school year. The school district hosted 18 children, along with their families, during this event, which took place at Salisbury Elementary.
The theme of the workshop was "Vocabulary and Rhyming," and all information and activities shared with families centered around the topic. The workshop emphasized phonemic awareness and the importance of understanding sounds before reading words.
