A Little Free Library is now open at Leaders Heights Elementary School, 49 Indian Rock Dam Road, York. Charles Patterson, principal, dedicated the library on May 4 during the annual May Day festivities.
Parents of third-graders presented the idea to the PTO, and support was given by staff and families throughout the school. The library, located in the school's front courtyard, is open 24/7. Community members are invited to visit the library, give a book, and take a book in exchange. Visitors are asked to sign the guest book.
