The Lancaster Science Factory (LSF) will host a virtual Science Trivia Night that participants can join with a team of family and friends from anywhere. The family-friendly trivia event will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 22. The challenging questions will be at the high school level and up.
Trivia Night topics will include plants and animals of Pennsylvania, things that glow, famous feats of engineering, science in the movies, and weird and gross science facts. Prizes will be awarded the night of the event to support local restaurants that usually contribute food and beverages to the "Taste of Science" gala.
Teams of up to eight players can join from anywhere and enjoy a private Zoom breakout room to compare notes and answer questions collaboratively. All teams that register by Friday, Oct. 9, are eligible to win one of three early bird prizes.
Science Trivia Night is free to play. Teams may register by visiting http://www.lancastersciencefactory.org/sciencetrivia. Donations to support LSF's Resiliency Fund will be accepted.
