The museum will also offer two programs in the Virtual Program Series in January. Both programs are free, but registration is required at http://www.landisvalleymuseum.org by clicking on "Events."

The first Collection Showcase of 2022 will be offered on Wednesday, Jan. 26, at 7 p.m. Representatives of Landis Valley, the Anthracite Heritage Museum, the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania, Cornwall Iron Furnace, and the Erie Maritime Museum will share museum pieces related to the theme "Trades and Jobs." Attendees may vote for their favorite piece at the end of the presentation.

"Exploring the Peter Wentz Farmstead" will take place on Thursday, Jan. 27, at 7 p.m. The Peter Wentz Farmstead is a historic Pennsylvania German farm in Worcester. The program will focus on the story of the farm's founder, Peter Wentz, and the use of the farm house as Gen. George Washington's headquarters following the Battle of Germantown. The program will also share information on the Schulz family, owners of the farm from 1794 to 1969, when it was sold to Montgomery County. The county now owns and administers the farm as a historic site.
