The Growing Together Podcast Club will meet in a four-week series at 2 p.m. on Wednesdays starting Sept. 8. Topics are as follows: Sept. 8, Navigating Uncertainty; Sept. 15, Making Friends; Sept. 22, Happiness; and Sept. 29, Creativity. Individuals should preregister to participate, and an email will be sent with all the listening links. Participants can also come to the center to listen. Everyone should come each week prepared to discuss.
Watercolor classes will resume at 1 p.m. on Wednesdays starting Sept. 8.
A sneak peak of the new Hershey Community Center will be offered via Zoom on Thursday, Sept. 9, at 11:30 a.m. Zach Jackson will show the progress of the center, which will be the senior center's new home in 2022. The sneak peak may be viewed at the Mohler Center or via Zoom, with the link emailed beforehand.
Drum Fitness will be offered for six weeks at 11 a.m. on Tuesdays starting Sept. 14. The low-impact cardio class offers a full-body workout, with instructor Pamra Bowser teaching a fusion of cardio, toning, and flexibility. The class is free, but space is limited and preregistration is required.
Beach (Ball) Volleyball, a six-week program, will meet at 11 a.m. on Thursdays starting Sept. 16. The program is for people of all levels.
A Senior Center Month Celebration will be held on Thursday, Sept. 30, at 11:30 a.m. on the Mohler Center patio. A meal and entertainment will be provided by Country Meadows. The rain date will be Friday, Oct. 1. Space is limited, and preregistration is required.
"Remember Me" bears and pillows are being crafted at the Mohler Center. The doll group wil make memorial bears and throw pillows from a loved one's clothing. There is a cost. For more information, call the center.
