Stewartstown Area Senior Center, 26 S. Main St., Stewartstown, has announced its upcoming schedule of activities. For more information, readers may call the center at 717-993-3488.
On Wednesday, July 3, the aerobics class will meet in the Community Building at the fairgrounds. At the senior center, Mary Ellen's ceramics class will meet at 9 a.m., welcoming anyone who would like to paint ceramics. Donna from Senior Life will present a program. The bridge club will meet at noon, and the 500 card party will begin at 1 p.m.
On Thursday, July 4, the center will be closed for the Independence Day holiday.
On Friday, July 5, Barb's aerobics class will meet in the Community Building at the fairgrounds. At the senior center, there will be a Fourth of July picnic featuring '50s and '60s music presented by Dan Martin in the morning, followed by a picnic lunch. Those who are able are asked to bring a dessert to share.
On Monday, July 8, members will meet at the Mason Dixon Restaurant at 8 a.m. for breakfast and fellowship. Barb's aerobics class will meet in the Community Building at the fairgrounds. At the senior center, table games and Wii Bowling will be available throughout the day.
On Tuesday, July 9, Barb's aerobics class will be held in the Community Building at the fairgrounds. At the senior center, Wii bowling will be available throughout the day. The craft class will meet at 9:30 a.m. Missy Sweitzer will be on hand for the Car Fit Program from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. After lunch, Doug will be available to assist with computer issues. The pinochle group will meet at noon. The final diabetes class will begin at 1 p.m.
