Serendipity Program To Resume

Serendipity, a program of Newcomers and Neighbors of Lancaster County, is being resumed after a yearlong hiatus due to COVID. The next meeting will be on Monday, Nov. 1.

The program involves trips and activities suggested by members at monthly breakfast meetings at a local restaurant. Outings may be to a museum, a miniature golf course, a shopping location, and more. Past trips have been to locations such as Longwood Gardens, Baltimore Harbor, Brandywine River Museum, and the Harley-Davidson Factory in York.

Any area woman interested in joining the group is welcome to attend.

Newcomers and Neighbors is a nonprofit women's organization that was founded in the 1990s to extend a hand to new and longer-term residents of Lancaster County. It offers lunches, dinners, book clubs, educational programs, community service opportunities, and more.
