Sheehan, Yost Recognized

Lancaster Sunrise Rotary Club has recognized seniors Andrew Sheehan and Sophie Yost as the Manheim Township High School Students of the Month for October. They were selected for their school and community activities, leadership and achievements.

Sheehan's favorite subjects are science and math. He is captain of the soccer team and participates in track and field. Sheehan is a charter member of Township Together and a member of Rotary's Interact Club, Link Crew and National Honor Society. Sheehan is a Lancaster-Lebanon soccer all-star.

Yost's favorite subjects are Spanish, theory of knowledge and history. She is co-captain of the varsity girls' tennis team, president of the Women in Leadership club, founder and president of the MT Coalition for Social Justice and a member of National Honor Society. Yost is an Attollo Scholar and national field director for the MyVote Project.

Lancaster Sunrise Rotary meets on Thursdays from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. in person at Bent Creek Country Club, 620 Bent Creek Drive, Lititz, and via Zoom.
