The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Central Pennsylvania Chapter held its holiday party celebration and charity collection on Jan. 9.
Chapter members and guests who attended the event supported the chapter's donation of supplies to Peaceable Kingdom, an animal welfare organization in the Lehigh Valley area. Donated items included dry food, treats, supplies, and cash donations among additional much-needed items. A list of needed donations can be found at http://www.lvpeaceablekingdom.info.
The supplies were donated in honor of Jen Smyers, a former board member of the SMPS Central Pennsylvania Chapter who recently passed away after battling cancer. Smyers volunteered much of her time at Peaceable Kingdom.
